Time for a interesting review.

Plot: Okay how to explain without grossing out or confusing.

The Human Centipede is about a mad doctor who grafts a asian man, and two american girls together by mouth to rectum procedure.

Have you stopped reading yet? No okay.

Review: So yeah thats all i can add for a plot because thats all really anyone needs to hear to say either "Weird, this I've got to see" or "Um, ew count me out"

Let me start out by saying this really isn't that disturbing of a film. Yes some will watch and be disturbed by the concept alone and some will not be because its just so bizarre. The concept really is the most disturbing bit. There is not a lot of gore, and what is there is never extreme or over the top its just there because it is showing the consequences of someone being shot. The most violent part of the film is the surgery that takes place and its graphic but no more so then you'd expect. Okay so on with the actual review, one simple question a lot of people ask is, "gore, and everything aside, is this a good movie that actually stands on its own marits other than a one trick pony that its weird concept is that trick" and the answer is a sorta. Its a decent horror film, but exactly a scary one, nor once you get over the overall concept is it very disturbing. It fails in several aspects. The first fifteen to twenty minutes are almost painful to watch because of the two leads. They can't act, plain and simple. Its just rough to watch these girls. The director Tom Six is not from america and it shows. You can tell what the girls were original written as were two regular american girls. But they are so cliched and so bland, flat, and annoying. They act like airheads.

Okay so where it succeeds is, its about as original as it gets. They idea is grotesque, and it keeps you watching. The doctor is brillant, he is so darkly funny at times you have to remind yourself what your watching. I won't say much because i don't want to ruin the weirdness.

Overall rating: 6/10 It earns 90% of its merits from its originality. Yes it falls into some genre cliches but it still works well enough. Will it ever be a top 10 for me, No, but it is destined for cult status because of its bizarre ideas.
